My husband is just a little confused on what type of video card we need in our computer in order to play the game World in Conflict. Our computer is probably from about 2004, and we were just gonna upgrade the graphics card so we could play that and the new Sims 3 coming out. Our computer is not compatible with PCI Express video cards, so we don’t know what to do or get. Thanks.

I got 1Nvidia Geforce 9800gt 1024mb video card and I just wanted to know if I buy another card similar to it what is the benefit if having to inside my computer? I also wanted to know if I news some sort of SLI setup or not, I am a gamer, but don’t know much about how video cards work

I have an acer aspire x3200 computer and I really want to get another video card for it. I already have nvidia 8200 integrated graphics card for it but that is not to good for playing games. The problem is that my PSU is only 220W and my case is small as hell so I can’t replace it. I would like the card to be able to share with my integrated graphics if possible too. Also make sure the card will fit in my case also.

Basically I want to connect 2 video cards to get more memory to run games better.

I bought a computer for 20 bucks that was better than my old computer and just needed a hard drive. So I took my old hard drive out and put it in there. I also had a Radeon 9200 128MB in my old computer, which was better than the 64MB Radeon 7500 in the one i bought.

So it came to my mind that maybe i can use a dual video card setup, not to have 2 monitors with the same display, but to use both there video RAM to have, in this case, 192MB of total video RAM. What do you guys think?
Edas, I’m sure 1.8ghz and 512MB of RAM can run better games than Hearts and Solitare. Ok, I’m not trying to run the craziest games here and I’m not a hardcore gamer, but I gave it a thought and guess it won’t workout with my motherboard. Just waiting for the day I have enough money to buy a killer laptop.

I am building a computer with the latest techs for gaming. I am planning on Overclocking my processor (an Intel Core i7 w/ 2.66 ghz) and using a liquid cooling system. In addition, I am going with dual video cards and was wondering what power supply would i need?

when i open up info on my computer and look at my video cards it says ati raedon x300/x550/x1050 series and then it says another by the same name but it says “(secondary)” right after it. Does this mean i have dual video cards?, if so how can i use them because i can barly run gmod on low settings and i need to use as much of my computer’s potential as possible. The computer is a dell dimension e510, the processor has hyperthreading which might have something to do with it.

Hardware manufacturers are constantly at work to improve their drivers in order to add more features or to iron out bugs. All you have to do to improve the images on your screen is to update your driver. You can very likely get the required video card driver update from the manufacturer’s website or from various websites, but you may encounter certain problems.

On the contrary i also have ATI HD 4870×2 video cards i could also use, so which one do you guys and gals think i should put inside my computer? I cant use SLI or Crossfire because the guy or dell technician that build my computer only wired it for single video card Your assistance will be of value thank you in anticipation.
