Best Power Supply for Gaming PC with dual video cards?
I will be investing in a gaming rig from cyberpower pc in the near future. I intend to get a system with dual video cards. Two AMD Radeon HD 6750 1GB GDDR5 16X PCle Video Cards. I was thinking that a 1200 watt power supply should be enough. But since Im so new to gaming systems, I probably need as many good opinions as well as advice as possible. What do you guys think? Is 1200 too much or too less? And can I get away with more inexspensive cards? I only want a system to play Lord Of The Rings online with ultra high graphics and no lag, period. My current system is crap for any kind of gaming. Any and all advise appreciated. Go easy on me, Im still learning =)
How important is your graphics card when doing video editing and rendering?
I need to buy a new Mac system for video editing with Final Cut Pro. I plan to edit professional-level quality projects on this machine. An iMac is much more cheaper than the Mac Pro but the tradeoff is that you can’t expand it or upgrade it’s video card. The vid card it comes with is decent but I’m trying to think of the long term. So my question is, how important is a video card to doing video editing and rendering, and probably some graphics work as well. Thank you!
What video card should I purchase to play games like Mass Effect 2 on good settings?
I stopped playing PC games for a few years and I recently bought a new system. The system is great, but the only thing lacking is a great video card. The stock card it came with is an ATI Radeon HD 3200, and it simply does not play modern games. What card should I buy (decently priced) to play modern games like Mass Effect 2, and in the future Star Wars: The Old Republic, on good settings? By good settings I mean medium-high quality.
Some more questions about dual video cards?
I have a dual GTX 580 in my system and I noticed that on the bridge connectors that there are two places to put connect bridges, and I was wondering if connecting another bridge out boost the performance.
Dell Alienware M17x laptop Review of Multi-Tasking shot with Panasonic HDC-TM700
This review of the Alienware M17x is to demonstrate how well the system can handle multiple audio/video programs running at one time. This video was shot with the Panasonic HDC-TM700 camcorder on the highest quality setting 1920×1080 60p recording (I accidently said “920″ instead of “1920″ on the video). Overall, all applications ran well with only minor lag in the video when I moved them around the desktop. I assume that a system with dual video cards would do even better. My system has the Intel i7 720QM processor, 8GB 1333Hz RAM, and 1GB ATI video card. Hope some people find this helpful Also remember that the video quality you are likely seeing is not a true representation of the actual quality, if you are not watching it on 1080p with a high resolution monitor. The video on my screen looks amazing…better than my Samsung HD TV! This system is able to handle the 1920×1080 60p video very well.
