I have 2 GTX 580′s and I want to connect them. First of all do I use the Multi-GPU Cross Fire Video Link Card or the Multi-GPU SLI Video Link Card or both. Next question is last time I hooked the cards up by putting both on it and when I enabled the dual video cards on the Nvidia control panel the screen kept flashing and I had to turn it off. Was this because of low power supply or because I was only suppose to use on of the connecting strips. Lastly I don’t really think this matters but the way I connected them had the connectors bending up and I was wondering if this can mess with it.

I got 1Nvidia Geforce 9800gt 1024mb video card and I just wanted to know if I buy another card similar to it what is the benefit if having to inside my computer? I also wanted to know if I news some sort of SLI setup or not, I am a gamer, but don’t know much about how video cards work

I have a dual GTX 580 in my system and I noticed that on the bridge connectors that there are two places to put connect bridges, and I was wondering if connecting another bridge out boost the performance.

I’ve asked a bunch of questions today..this one is the last.

I have 2 video cards and recently changed the primary to my 2nd one..
this caused a problem because now i cant logon to windows, i entered on safe mode and tried system restoring to an earlier time but the restore keeps failing
is there any way to change the primary on startup? or any other way?
